Job Description
Our client is currently searching for a Group Procurement Manager who is confident and a good negotiator reporting directly to the CEO. The role requires an experienced Executive that has worked within an FMCG and Manufacturing environment. The purpose of this role is to support the implementation of the Group Procurement Strategy and become involved in the management and development of Group Supplier relationships. Ultimately you will be required to deliver on Group Savings Targets. Your expertise will include the Sourcing of Suppliers, negotiations, contract management and SLA management.
• 8 - 10 years’ experience working in a procurement environment of which a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity• BCom Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain• MBA advantageous• CIPS advantageous
Job Duties
• Responsible for developing and delivering the relevant procurement categories as required
• Driving the publication of tenders and other related documents as directed
• Financial Management
• Process Management
• Deliver optimal cost of ownership for Procurement categories
• Spend analysis to be completed and updated and utilised for demand planning
• Reporting
• Risk Management
• Able to analyse information and make quick decisions
