Systems Analyst

You will be pivotal in integrating and optimising the company’s information systems, with a focus on ERP and related systems.
Reporting to the Solution Architect, this role requires a deep understanding of system operations and their integration with other applications.
Core responsibilities include analysing, designing, and specifying IT solutions, particularly those involving integration technologies such as APIs, Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
You will hold a BSc. in Computer Science, BEng. in Computer, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification at NQF 7.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Integration Services, Logic Apps, and Business Intelligence, is essential. A strong grasp of integration technologies (APIs, Web Services, XML, JSON, and EDI) and experience in system security, data analysis, and solutions design is also required.
Familiarity with middleware technologies (e.g., REST APIs, XML, JSON), manual testing, and Microsoft BizTalk or similar middleware is preferred.
Experience with ERP systems like Cargowise One and exposure to business analysis, international logistics, warehousing, transport, and supply chain management is advantageous.
The role demands excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and projects, especially during the hypercare phase after deployment.
The ability to troubleshoot and effectively utilise resources such as Google and Stack Overflow is crucial, given the small team size and limited development resources.
Additionally, you must be adaptable and capable of quickly learning new technologies while working within a project management structure.
