Based in Port Elizabeth you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Production Manager by overseeing the Charge Room Division’s operational and maintenance activities.
This role involves designing and implementing systems to enhance production efficiency and output, ensuring that performance targets are met.
You will have a Certificate in a Technical, Engineering, or Electrical discipline, and a trade-tested Artisan – preferably Electrician or Millwright. A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering would be advantageous.
With up to 10 years of experience in the Electrical Production or Operations field, including 5 years at a supervisory level, you will bring extensive knowledge in maintenance and production processes.
Key responsibilities include optimising production methods, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with company policies, and fostering strong customer relationships.
Additionally, the role requires supervising staff, conducting performance appraisals, and contributing to financial and cost control initiatives to support the achievement of organisational goals.
