Lead and manage the Sales & Marketing function, specialising in unique FMCG Food or Beverage brands. Develop strategies tailored to niche market brands, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Direct the sales teams and key account managers, focusing on major clients such as major food retailers and others.
 
Drive innovation in customer service delivery and route-to-market strategies with a keen understanding of the supply chain and operations. Utilise your strong financial acumen to draft budgets and manage expenditures. Develop and execute export strategies to expand international clientele. Mentor team members for future leadership roles and succession planning.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales & Marketing, with a preference for an MBA or relevant postgraduate studies.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in B2B sales within FMCG Food or Beverage brands or Agriculture.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans – presenting confidently to the Exco team.
  • Proven track record of success in understanding financials and leading sales teams.
  • Ability to relocate to or reside in Mossel Bay or Oudtshoorn and travel nationally and internationally.
  • Committed to long-term career growth and stability and a desire to progress to senior management within 3-4 years.
