The Factory/Production Manager will oversee full factory operations, ensuring seamless workflow, optimal efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. Company transport from King Williams Town daily.
Key responsibilities include designing and modifying production schedules, managing staff recruitment and training, and implementing strategic production decisions.
You will require:
- A degree in Business or Operations Management is preferred.
- A minimum of eight years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in project management and total quality management principles is advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making, and motivational skills.
The role demands exceptional problem-solving, multitasking, attention to detail, and expertise in production optimisation and schedule management.
It is essential to analyse production data, manage material requirements, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including waste elimination and cost reduction.
You will also ensure compliance with health, safety, and risk management regulations while maintaining all equipment and materials in working order.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to mentor staff and build a high-performing team are critical to success in this role.
