You will be required to assist staff onsite and remotely with any IT-related issues.
 
Key Result Areas:
  • Resolve network, printing and windows related queries
  • Visit branch offices weekly
  • Must be able to work and resolve problems without being micromanaged
  • Maintain wireless infrastructure and not be afraid to work at heights as you will be required to work on elevated wireless equipment at the mine
  • Backup user and company data and test data backup consistency
  • Work closely with payroll office staff to ensure that the clocking stations are functioning
  • Purchasing computer hardware and software, printer toners and other parts as needed on behalf of the company
 
Essential Skills and Experience  
  • Minimum 5 years or more related proven working experiences in maintaining and troubleshooting issues with the firewall, server and networking
  • Technical skills including:
      • TCP/IP-based networking, DHCP, DNS, a basic understanding of sub-netting
      • Switching configuration and troubleshooting
      • VPN and WAN configuration: IPSEC, PPPOE, routing knowledge
      • VoIP and PABX configuration: SIP
      • Wireless PTP and PTMP configurations – Ubiquity products
      • Knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012,2019
  • Microsoft Hyper-V, Office 365 Administrator
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft office 2010.2013.2019
  • QNAP Network Storage experience or equivalent
  • Network cabling and patching
  • Firewall administration, Microtik preferably
  • Familiar with Unifi products
  • Computer hardware repairs and purchasing of new hardware
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • Anti-Virus
  • Backup technologies
  • Remote Support of office branches
  • General familiarity with the common OS in the market (mostly IOS, Android)
  • Zoom and Teams assistance
