Maintenance Managers GCC

You will be responsible for overseeing and directing the maintenance operations within a complex industrial plant, ensuring that all maintenance activities align with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, this role requires a BEng in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NQF 8/10) and a Government Certificate of Competence.
You will possess at least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial capacity, with a proven track record in managing the maintenance of complex plant systems.
The role demands a strategic thinker who is highly motivated, results-driven and has excellent leadership and communication skills.
You will be responsible for implementing and managing reliability, preventative, and recovery maintenance processes per the Asset Reliability Program. You will ensure that production targets are met while maintaining the long-term sustainability of plant assets.
The role also involves managing the maintenance budget, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems and environmental standards.
Additionally, you will participate in business planning and budgeting processes, conduct high-level negotiations with customers and suppliers, and develop and mentor direct reports and high-potential employees.
