Business Development Manager
Sales and Marketing
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales process from initial contact through to closure ending in preferably a long-term contractual relationship. You will also be required to account manage to further maximise the business from the customer.
• To develop sales strategies that are aligned to the overall Business Unit objectives.• To identify new markets and develop new business within these markets.• To develop new business within existing accounts.
• To achieve/exceed targets/budgets aimed at growing sustainable sales and profits of the Business Unit and organisation through the development of business partnerships, which provide a total communication solution to the client.
• Sales or Marketing diploma or appropriate industry sector knowledge acquired through experience.• Sound knowledge of the different types of products, services, technologies and printing processes within the printing industry.• Hunter sales profile essential• Requires excellent business understanding and knowledge of marketing implementation and strategy.• Excellent product knowledge.• A fundamental understanding of providing print communication solutions.• Knowledge of plant capability and machine specifications• Able to take customers through quotes in detail• A consultative sales ability in a solutions-based environment
