Our client a market leader is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to establish their lifestyle brands as the preferred partner. You will be required to develop a close, strong, positive and efficient partnership with retail partners and strategically develop the business to achieve and exceed targets.
• Marketing / Sales Management tertiary qualification• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a Senior Sales or Brand Management position role in a medium to large organization• Ability to demonstrate good problem solving, decision-making , negotiation and innovative skills• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills• Must be able to show a proven, successful track record in a Sales/Marketing Brand management environment• Excellent organizational skills• Ability to manage, lead, coach and mentor the sales team
• Formulate a clear Brand strategy• Formulate strategy plans to increase market share• Effective execution of the Marketing plan• Manage trade marketing initiatives and ensuring emphasis on in-store visibility• Develop and manage retail distribution in line with market targets and defined distribution strategy• Manage and develop commercial activities in the RSA as per the defined business strategy• Understand and analyse the market and its developments and foresee future trends• Provide frequent competitive analysis to sales team and management.• Understand customer and trade insights via implementation and mastery of all available market analytical tolls• Ensure all Trade activities are managed according to company business principles and operating guidelines
