Job Description

Our client a market leader is seeking a Trade Marketing Executive to establish their lifestyle brands as the preferred partner. You will be required to develop a close, strong, positive and efficient partnership with retail partners and strategically develop the business to achieve and exceed targets. 
• Marketing / Sales Management tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in a Senior Sales or Brand Management position role in a medium to large organization
• Ability to demonstrate good problem solving, decision-making , negotiation and innovative skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Must be able to show a proven, successful track record in a Sales/Marketing Brand management environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to manage, lead, coach and mentor the sales team

Job Duties

• Formulate a clear Brand strategy
• Formulate strategy plans to increase market share
• Effective execution of the Marketing plan
• Manage trade marketing initiatives and ensuring emphasis on in-store visibility
• Develop and manage retail distribution in line with market targets and defined distribution strategy
• Manage and develop commercial activities in the RSA as per the defined business strategy
• Understand and analyse the market and its developments and foresee future trends
• Provide frequent competitive analysis to sales team and management.
• Understand customer and trade insights via implementation and mastery of all available market analytical tolls
• Ensure all Trade activities are managed according to company business principles and operating guidelines
