Job Description

Our client is seeking a senior-level candidate who has the ability to prepare a roadmap for success for the Mpumalanga and Limpopo region. The role is based in Isando with frequent travel to the relevant Key Regions. Essential that you have gained extensive experience in trade execution, both formal and informal. You will be held accountable for driving sales and desired outputs for all regional key account groups within the defined geography. Which will include:

• Opening new distributors to unlock regions and channels to ensure all company products are available.
• Trading term negotiations
• Manage and maximize customer spend for best ROI.
• Interpret Sales and Customer Analytics and Provide Sales and Customer Insights
• Manage cost drivers and take the necessary action to mitigate financial risk and address variances and discrepancies
• Ensure adherence to operational and financial frameworks of practices, processes, standards and controls
• Ensure that the right people capacity is in place and manage employee performance through effective and goal-directed people leader
• Ensure Sales Force Automation is effective and adopted by all sales personnel to drive business

Job Duties

Qualifications and Experience
• BCom Degree/ Diploma (Similar)
• Up to 6 years’ experience (Supervisory) Sales and Trade Execution
• Formal and Informal trade experience essential
• Retail and wholesale experience essential 
• Developing and leading teams
• Negotiation and trading ability
• Collaborate internally and externally to achieve favourable OTIF outcomes
• Robust IT Skills
