Head of Sales – Call Centre

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a crucial role in making a Call Centre operationally efficient and successful. Are you an experienced leader with a proven track record of driving sales performance in a call centre environment?
You will have extensive experience in managing a sales force/call centre of over 450 seats. You will be required to take charge of ensuring exceptional sales call quality while maximizing performance on all campaigns. You will be responsible for managing and leading Senior Sales Leaders to consistently exceed key performance area targets and achieve our client’s objectives.
- FAIS compliance and Key Individual (KI) status.
- Deep understanding and experience in managing large sales teams, in a call centre environment.
- Proficiency in call centre processes, procedures, and reporting methods.
- Excellent managerial, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership ability and the ability to motivate the sales floor constantly.
- Self-motivated with the capability to perform well under pressure.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and manage the sales strategy, aligning it with the overall business strategy, and ensuring its implementation and compliance to achieve outstanding performance.
- Establish strong foundations for all sales calls, achieve KPIs, and maintain compliance with sales, tone, manner, and legal requirements. Focus on reducing pending calls and consistently improve call quality.
- Monitor daily productivity, set monthly targets for key performance areas, and aim to exceed clients’ requirements. Implement incentive campaigns and programs to drive sales performance.
- Lead and allocate campaigns to the Sales Teams, oversee the structure and growth plans of the Sales Team, and conduct rigorous performance management. Motivate and uphold the values of the organization while ensuring the continuous development of Sales Team members.
- Keep staff turnover and absenteeism below targets, ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet lead volume demands, and identify recruitment and training needs within the Call Centre.
