We’re seeking a seasoned Financial/Operations Manager to take charge of finance and accounting in a fast-paced, world-class manufacturing environment. Reporting directly to the MD, this newly created role requires someone who is financially astute and deeply involved in operations. You’ll manage a finance team of five, support a factory headcount of over 100 and ensure SYSPRO is fully leveraged for performance across the business. This role suits someone who thrives in an agile, hands-on environment and is committed to quality, improvement, and growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom in Accounting/Finance with 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing finance.
- Proven experience using SYSPRO or similar ERP systems.
- Skilled in inventory, cost control, and operations integration.
- Strong leadership, people development, and communication skills.
- Self-starter with a hands-on approach and commercial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-function financial management, statutory compliance, and finance and admin function leadership.
- Preparing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts; management reporting and analysis.
- Optimise ERP (SYSPRO) for inventory, manufacturing, and warehouse traceability.
- Ensure tight internal controls, cost reduction, and financial efficiency.
- Manage payroll, HR admin, tax, forex, and banking operations.
- Contribute to business strategy, support production and sales, and attend key operational meetings.
