Job Description
Our client based in the Northern Cape is seeking a Maintenance Manager who will take ownership of the management of resources to deliver business targets and earthmoving fleet reliability. You will be responsible for safety, managing budgets, quality and ensuring that all planned maintenance and repairs are expedited. In addition, you will be required to ensure compliance with all applicable legislation and managing effective and strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
Job Duties
Minimum Qualification/s
• Certificate Trade Test Artisan (NQF 4)
• Supervisory Development Programme (NQF 4)
• Legal appointee in terms of MHS Act Regulation 2.6.1 of the Mine Health and Safety Act
Preferred Qualification/s
• BEng/BSc/National Diploma/National Certificate
• Asset and Maintenance Management
• Workshop and Fleet Maintenance Management
• Maintenance Planning
Experience
• At least 8 years' general Engineering work experience
• At least 5 years' in Mechanical Maintenance and repairs in mining, OEM or Plant Hire spares and parts environment
• At least 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Supervisory/Management Role
• Execution of Planned Maintenance and Repair (backlog) schedules
• Maintenance Systems and Processes
• Maintenance & Repair execution
• Asset and Maintenance Management
• Basic Financial Understanding
• Understanding of Legislation (MHSA) requirements
• Implementation of SHERQ Systems
• Quality Management
