Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years in marketing, with a focus on retail.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce strategy and digital marketing.
  • 3+ years in a middle/senior management role.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms like Magento and WooCommerce, and payment gateways.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in tools like GA4 and Sprout.
  • Proven social media, SEO, PPC, mobile, and email marketing track record.
  • Deep understanding of retail marketing and customer behaviour in Southern Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee existing and new e-commerce platforms and digital marketing channels.
  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage budgets and report on e-commerce performance.
  • Lead the social media marketing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise online merchandising and marketing campaigns.
  • Continuously improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Analyse performance data and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Source and manage third-party technology and marketing partners.
  • Build strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure ongoing staff training and development.
