Reporting to the Sales Manager for KZN you will be the key point of contact between an organization and its Trade Channel clients. You will assume responsibility for identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships and Strategic Key Account Management.
 
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Matric OR Equivalent
  • Qualification in sales and marketing (Advantageous)
  • 3-5 Yrs. experience in sourcing new business opportunities.
  • 3 Yrs. of knowledge of dealing with retailers/merchants and wholesalers
  • 3-5 Yrs. in a sales and marketing environment
  • Experience in direct calling on prospective clients
  • Must have strong background knowledge in Plumbing, Construction and Sanware
  • Preferably have product knowledge of company Products
  • Good knowledge of all legislation related to building and construction
  • Must have a strong background in marketing and sales
  • Must have strong selling/marketing presentation skills
  • Must have sales forecasting and planning experience
  • Must understand the sales process
  • Must have in-depth product knowledge
  • Customer support and service experience are essential
  • Computer system knowledge: Microsoft Excel & Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint
  • Valid driver’s license- unendorsed code 8
  • Working knowledge of SAP and CRM
