Our client a multi-national and market leader is seeking to appoint an Account Manager in the consumer retail space. Reporting to the B2B Manager you will be required to generate sales through securing new accounts and managing and developing existing accounts. You will be required to professionally represent the company to always ensure that sites portray a professional image to uphold the brand reputation.
 
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
  • Matric
  • 2-3 years of sales experience
  • Premium Brand Management experience will be advantageous
  • Technical selling of “white goods” is an added advantage
  • Strong face-to-face selling skills
  • MS Office skills essential
  • Professional communication skills and customer service orientation is crucial for this position
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Own reliable vehicle as the position requires travelling and the potential for some after-hours work at shows, demonstrations, and the likes
 
Key Result Areas:
  • Maximize all opportunities to increase sales and the company’s market share
  • Leveraging off all social media platforms and own connections within the B2B industry to generate leads
  • Demonstrate the requisite technical selling skills, product knowledge and understanding of pricing required to function effectively in this position
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and other activities and render such
  • Place trials and convert to a sale
  • Prepare and present sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Prepare and submit rental contracts and sales quotes
  • Visit or book online meetings with potential clients to evaluate needs and promote the products
  • Assist in setting up events and prospecting new business from time to time
