Are you a “Hunter” and enjoy the chase and the closing of deals?  This is WFM position. Reporting to the GM Business Development, you will be required to sell data backup and recovery solutions. Essential that you are self-motivated, target driven with a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at building relationships and closing deals. A proficient level of technical understanding, specifically within data management backup products is required. Very competitive potential in commission earnings.
 
Essential Qualification and Experience:
  • Minimum NQF 4 (Matric), NQF 5 or higher will be advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of similar experience
  • Experience in selling various data technologies
  • Knowledge of Cloud-related Solutions
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Backup products
  • Knowledge of Data Storage products and connectivity
  • Experience working on Zoho will be advantageous.
  • MS Office literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook essential)
  • Valid code 8 driver’s license and own reliable transport
  • Stable internet at home
 
Key Result Areas:
  • Meet weekly, monthly and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics
  • Generate leads and build relationships
  • Planning and organising a daily work schedule to call on potential sales prospects
  • Conduct cold calling
  • Generate new business leads and arrange meetings
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Engagement with potential and current customers
  • Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycles to close new business in all service categories offered
  • Identify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations to customers
  • Network with existing customers to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades (upsell)
  • Respond to tender documents, proposals, reports and supporting literature
