About this job

Accurately maintain the time and attendance system for all employees by entering all hours of work and any periods of absence that could impact on pay and attendance records.

Essential that you have solid experience gained within a manufacturing company, coupled with Advanced Excel Skills - VLOOKUP's etc. The ability to communicate at a shop floor level is paramount.

Ensure Time & Attendance System is properly setup, managed and maintained. Assist with coordinating the daily operations and activities of the payroll team in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.

Time & Attendance

  • Management of time and attendance with regards to staff clocking, absenteeism, short time, overtime, leave, shift allowance and general administration of Time and Attendance
  • Assist employees on queries as and when required
  • Time report as and when required by managers/HR
  • Leave report as and when required by managers/HR
  • Liaise with Supervisors regarding all employees for whom no timekeeping data was received

 



Skills Required

Qualification

  • Relevant diploma/degree

Essential Experience:

  • Must have 3 to 5 years’ experience on running large payrolls
  • Manufacturing experience essential
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll and legislative requirements
  • Must possess considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration.
  • Must have knowledge of shift permutations and overtime calculations
  • Electronic time and access control system experience
  • Computer literate MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Advanced Excel – VLOOKUP
  • VIP Premier Payroll experience
