About this job

My client is seeking a professional with a min of 8 years Supply Chain experience in International Buying and fully conversant with INCO Terms. Medical supplies product experience would be highly advantageous. Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management essential. Responsible for the overall management of the Supply Chain including but not limited to Inventory Management; Procurement and Warehousing, Forecasting, Buying through to transport and distribution from both local and international suppliers.

Key Result Areas:

  • Procurement Management - Design, implement and manage all Procurement processes in line with requirements and best practices
  • Inventory Management - Ensure the implementation and monitoring of key performance measures for the Inventory Management functions; Demand Management, Lead Time Management, Inventory Policy Setting, Inventory Order Management, Excess Stock Management, Repairable Stock Management
  • Warehouse Management - Manage the warehousing function and ensure delivery against targets
  • Budget Management - Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost
  • Leadership/Human Resources Management - Establish goals and objectives for self and team and implement accordingly to help support / improve job performance (experience, ability, competence).
