About this job

Responsible for managing the marketing and sale of technical products and services to customers outside of South Africa (Africa, UAE and Europe). Assist the National Sales Manager with any technical troubleshooting and training requirements in South Africa. Therefore, a background in the construction industry is paramount.

  • Providing and managing quotations, tenders, contracts, etc.
  • Conduct product training and other product support.
  • Monitor orders, distribution and schedules
  • Aftersales support and the handling and resolution of complaints.


Skills Required


  • Minimum education level required is a diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce or marketing from a recognised institution.


  • At least 5 year’s previous sales to the building industry / project management / construction industry experience is essential.


  • Strong technical aptitude and a large appetite for learning and teaching.
  • Technical and selling skills are essential, as well as the ability to solve solutions and create and exploit opportunities.
  • Good interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Speak, read and write in English to a standard acceptable for technical communication
  • French and / or Portuguese would be advantageous.
  • Competent in the Microsoft Office software suite and IT in general
  • Converse at all levels both on the telephone and in face to face situations, as well as excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and be very organised.
  • Number skills (for managing budgets and analysing sales figures).
  • A valid driver’s licence.
  • Ability to travel away from home and ability to work independently are required.
