Reporting to the Head of Sales and Product Development, you will be accountable for the effective development of a healthy sales pipeline of new client prospects for the Group’s suite of products and services to meet the business’ sales growth targets.

  • Providing professional leadership in strategic client opportunities and/or engagements aimed at effectively driving new client growth
  • Providing an accurate and reliable sales pipeline and support the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Responsible for achieving individual sale targets and including related KPIs as well as annual budgeted sales margin.
  • Develop an aggressive business development strategy and sales plan to achieve monthly & annual business objectives and sales targets for new business
  • Support Account Management team to achieve growth of profitable revenue through the use of up-selling and cross-selling within the client base across all segments.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to implement and coordinate market promotional activities for relevant market segments.
  • Obtain and analyse available and appropriate of market intelligence to support the identification of industry opportunities, market trends and target client segments
  • Provide regular and timely feedback, including reports, relating to new business sales pipeline and performance against targets
  • Potential and/or frequent travel to visit prospective clients throughout the country.


Skills Required


  • Matric required
  • Related Degree preferred


  • South African regional insurance industry or bank assurance experience preferred
  • 5-7 years of proven sales experiences in Product & Services / solution selling B2B to multinational organizations
  • Good track record of career progress
  • Successful selling experience B2B value added service with in the rewards/loyalty sector across multiple industries namely: Insurance, Banks, Telecommunication, Automotive, Hotel loyalty schemes, Airline loyalty schemes, High End Retailers, Travel industry

Knowledge/ Skills and Abilities

  • Good spoken and written English communication skill
  • Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing
  • Self-motivated and possess aggressive sales personality in achieving quantitative results
  • Skilled negotiator with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Must be well-versed in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
