Reporting the CMO drive the marketing strategy, product positioning, communication and PR strategy

KEY RESULT AREAS AND RELATED ACTIVITIES

  • Planning and executing marketing activities geared towards increasing the primary revenue streams for the company
  • Have a strong ROI focus
  • Strategize ways of driving growth and supporting additional revenue streams
  • Support the CMO with the evaluation of new business initiatives and evaluating commercial terms from a Marketing alliance/new business perspective.
  • Provide Marketing strategy and direction/analysis for new opportunities
  • Overall brand building and awareness
  • Identifying opportunities to gain visibility for the brand
  • Drive the company’s presence in the designated market/s.
  • Collate, evaluate & present the research findings to the Management and suggest ways that will enhance the position of our product in the market and will drive acquisitions.
  • Build positively on the current perception of offerings and position the company as the automatic choice.
  • Reviewing existing content & exploring ways of additional consumer connect through local initiatives including local content creation
  • Planning, forecasting & execution of marketing spend.
  • Exploring options that help minimize costs via strategic tie-ups, but ones that do not affect the company’s visibility/credibility.
  • Ensuring that spends incurred by the department is done post a thorough cost benefit analysis
  • Assume overall responsibility for developing the annual marketing plan for strategic market planning; market research programs, field force activities and overall effective utilization of the marketing budget.
  • Ideate, develop, and execute marketing campaigns -Effective Media planning, buying and execution utilizing all the aspects of the Marketing machinery i.e. Brand Marketing, Direct Marketing, Social Marketing & PR.
  • Provide ongoing market feedback and input in order to ensure alignment of content proposition with overall brand positioning/consumer needs.
  • Be an effective team player and lead, manage, mentor (including providing creative criticism) Marketing team members so that they are equipped & progressed within the business.

 



Skills Required

EDUCATION

  • Relevant Degree

 EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of 15-years’ experience in a Marketing role
  • At least 7-years’ experience as a Head of Marketing
