Responsible to drive acquisition of customers to grow customer base as well as achieve revenue targets through management of business plan, marketing strategies and acquisition investments and planning as well as lead the marketing acquisitions team and be the go-to individual for all our acquisitions campaigns, including media & digital

Key Performance Areas

Develop & manage customer centric acquisition marketing strategies

  • Develop & manage personalized multi-channel customer journeys to drive acquisition, improve efficiencies and new name expectations
  • Manage spend to maximize ROI
  • Drive strategies aligned with key business objectives
  • Drive brand loyalty and customer satisfaction

 Effective management of marketing acquisitions planning team

  • Ensure planning team work effectively with individuals across the business to gain knowledge on strategies and business processes to forecast business plan accurately and improve profitability
  • Drive customer centricity within the planning team across strategies and customer communication
  • Ensure team members have clear and tangible goals which are assessed bi-annually through the KPA performance management process
  • Provide effective leadership to team members to grow and achieve excellence in the planning team by identifying training needs and developing career growth plans

 Achieve business plan key metric targets

  • Manage the business plan to achieve financial targets (Intake, NSV)
  • Manage strategies within acquisition campaigns to align with business objectives to drive electronic channel growth, including sales, new customer acquisition, email gathering & ROI
  • Effectively manage net factor buckets (conversion) across operational areas
  • Manage the business plan to achieve new name targets
  • Continuously measure the performance of marketing campaigns and provide regular weekly /monthly/ quarterly reporting to senior management

 Achieve commercial targets for digital marketing activity

  • Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy for our Paid (Online Media, PPC, Social, Affiliates) and non-Paid (SEO, Referral) digital media activity for both existing & new customers
  • Own the end to end marketing planning function for our digital advertising
  • Put in place the required infrastructure and capabilities to deliver the agreed plans
  • As a leader in the field, remain up to date with best practice industry and competitor trends
  • Measurement and reporting for all digital marketing activity (Google Adwords, Google Analytics and Facebook platforms)

Grow foreign activity

  • Manage and execute marketing strategies to increase foreign proportion of business both at revenue and name expectation
  • Collaborate with all areas of business to ensure the foreign customer processes and communication is accurate


Skills Required

Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary Degree or qualification preferably Business Science/BCom
  • 3 - 5 Years' managerial experience, preferably in marketing
  • Previous analytical / planning experience within either a marketing and/or merchandise planning function
  • MS Office proficient (Advance Excel skills)
  • SQL experience will be an added advantage
