Marketing Campaign Manager

Business Science / BCom / Marketing Degree plus 2 - 3 Years’ experience in either a Marketing or Merchandising planning function. Responsible for overseeing marketing campaigns and driving business efficiency through accurate campaign analysis, response forecasting and ad spend management.

  • Achieve NSV target for responsible campaigns
  • Achieve intake value target
  • Achieve Net Factor
  • Responsible for the alignment of credit strategy with the business strategy
  • Ensure that key forecasting variables are credible in the business plan and are assessed timeously
  • Ensure business plan projections are credible from an operational perspective
  • Reduce customer attrition rates through the development and implementation of effective retention / repurchase strategies
  • Implement core strategies to increase customer spend through effective use of cross and upselling techniques to targeted groups of customers.


Manage ad spend budget

  • Effective management
  • Manage ad spend unit cost in line with strategic objectives
  • Achieve campaign efficiency
  • Ensure ad spend forecasts are credible and in line with strategic objectives
  • Manage the ad spend process to ensure efficiency gains are achieved


Business plan management

  • Deliver a scenario plan with completed actuals in accordance with pre-defined business plan timelines
  • Ensure curve trends are monitored with changes identified timeously for re-forecasting and adjusted accordingly
  • Ensure that revenue and spend variances are identified, investigated and explained
  • Responsible for the management of the back-up process of files for the business plan
  • Develop and roll out test strategies in line with the marketing plan
  • Ensure that the scenario plan is updated accurately
  • Ensure that the new business plan follows agreed business timelines
  • Ensure that key annual planning variables are credible and justified


Process management

  • Ensure campaigns are successfully implemented
  • Propose and implement improvements within existing reports to reduce the turnaround time on data reports
  • Strategic delivery and analysis
  • Analyse trends related to key variables within campaigns and put forward proposals
  • Ensure that the package and execution are aligned with campaign strategic objectives
  • Ensure that strategies are changed timeously based on results and campaign lessons learned
  • Develop weekly and monthly reporting on key variables for responsible campaigns
  • Plan and execute strategic projects that impact the overall business operational and revenue success


Skills Required

Minimum Requirements

  • Business Science / BCom / Marketing Degree
  • 2 - 3 Years’ experience in either a Marketing or Merchandising planning function
  • MS Office proficient (Advance Excel skills)
  • MS PowerPoint proficient
  • SQL experience will be an added advantage
